Baltimore City Public Schools graduates make a significant impact in their communities and beyond every day. The #IAmCitySchools media series highlights alumni who are applying the lessons and values they learned as City Schools students to their current careers.
In this inaugural episode, we feature Dr. Sedrick Smith, who now serves as the principal of Fallstaff Elementary/Middle School. Dr. Smith's educational journey began at Rosemont Elementary and continued through Mildred D. Monroe School, Samuel Morris Elementary School, West Baltimore Middle School, and Baltimore City College. He credits his time at City Schools with instilling a deep passion for giving back to his community—a commitment he has carried into his leadership role at Fallstaff.
This episode also features the voice of City Schools alumnus Jason Newton, a seasoned reporter for WBAL-TV and Baltimore City College graduate.
